New London Featured in The Hartford Courant

Once again a positive light was shed on New London as America's oldest newspaper the Hartford Courant ran a nice story on the city titled "New London's Staying Power". The story can be read by clicking on (or copying and pasting) http://www.courant.com/travel/hc-travnewlondon.artjun10,0,6909170.story

To summarize a lot is happening in the old Whaling City all within walking distance.

New restaurants (Lucca Wine Bar & Grille) as well as Alforno, Beans & Leaves (at New London Markets just behind Green Street) as well as Muse Shoe Store and Gallery at 102 Golden Street along with Grampy's New Deli and more all in downtown New London.

Along Bank Street two new restaurants will open next week. Bank Street will now have a new Lobster House called "Thames River Lobster" as well as a new Cuban place called "Havana". Check them out!
